Creating a memorable and witty slogan for advertising a business is not an easy task. Experts suggest that a successful advertising slogan must be simple to sound, but should also be extremely catchy. People take hours or even days to have the perfect idea for a slogan and eventually put that idea into words. Like all the other creative endeavors, there is no formula of writing a perfect slogan; however, following certain guidelines might make the process of creating a slogan a bit easier for you.

  1. You should begin with logo of your company. Almost every top company, service or product comes with a catchy and recognizable logo. It’s true that a logo and a slogan are not same, but they are deeply linked to each other. We tend to remember what we see; it’s human nature. Thus attractive logos can easily be used for making the same effect on the prospective consumer base as the catchy slogans. Besides that, if you use logos for promoting your business, you will always have the option of incorporating your business slogan into the logo.
  2. Creativity is not something that can run at the pace we want it to run. You will need to invest a lot of effort and time for creating a successful logo or slogan for your company. You may need to take part in several hours of brainstorming sessions while trying to fabricate a new slogan. Equal time might be required for editing your slogan and conducting a market research for ensuing that the slogan will be successfully promote your business.
  3. We have mentioned earlier that keeping the slogan simple is extremely important. Your slogan must be easily understood by the readers and must also be remembered. Never make the slogan longer than one sentence; slogans must never include obscure or long words. Your slogan must target the entire population around you; so if you use long words in it, those words might not be understood by some.
