Business requires lots of marketing efforts especially when it’s a new business enterprise or an old business venturing in to new products market. Promotional programs are a new buzz word amongst business communities and increasing competition with more market players entering the bandwagon have given rise to more promotional campaigns, people are getting used to. With low prices in place, you can persuade your customers in to buying your product or trying them for the first time, this is basically the experimentation phase for a company as well as the consumers who might be using your product in future too. Promotions are used in varieties of ways depending on the needs of the company, for some it may be B2B promotional programs while some may be directed towards only consumers. Different companies or businesses use different types of promotional programs depending on the industry they are working in, the majority users of promotional programs are the people in the retail businesses, the hair care industry, restaurant services, care hire, car care and many other preliminary industries. Most common mode of doing promotions is by distributing coupons for clothing, or shopping for groceries. Through the coupons, the shopkeeper can trace the transaction and find out if there was any change in the amount of sales made during a particular period of time.
The business to business trading mostly undertaken by suppliers offer goods on selling prices because as your consumer changes depending on industrial buyer or retailer buyers, your pattern of purchasing changes. There are different entities involved, the one who will pay and the one who makes a buying decision, promotional programs are hitting the markets the world over and people like it coz there is something new they want to try from the usual products they have been using all these years.
