Improving the productivity of your Business
For the people who think that Businesses are all one time affair, it is for sure unless you are keenly dedicated to your new or old business for at least a minimum of one year. Hundreds and thousands of businesses are opened up each day of the year but hardly any business sees a ray of light for the new few days or weeks or months. WHY? We keep questioning ourselves the reasons behind our business failures, we blame the services, the partners, the products or our marketing manager but do we take a sneak peak at our own selves, at our own failures? Failures at your end would mean unattended pending tasks, no requests or complaints made, lack of coordination, lack of business sense or an appeal or disinterest in business outlook or transactions. There could be hundreds of reasons for business failures and other hundreds that you are bound to make, so how do get results? Is there a magic wand that could complete all your tasks at one go? There isn’t but you can make changes by increasing and improving the productivity in your business outlooks, but how?
Given below are few coordinated steps that would help you increase your business productivity:
- Set productivity point system as a good analysis system for the tasks you do at office or at home, each day ask yourself the question that did you really gained something today? If not, then there is time to make changes to your routine. Keep a note of the 20 points you give yourself each day for good work.
- Start your day with main productive tasks at first, make a to-do list that will assure that all of your tasks would be completed on time.
- Points should be given in your record system based on the productive outcome you might have achieved at the end of the day, check if you gained a real productive output at the end of the day or whether you added any value to the company.
- Keep tab on your daily activities and check if all of your routine work is executed at set time, prioritize the tasks that are urgently needed and complete the tasks on time by any methods. There is not short cut to get at the end of the results, so make sure that you appoint legal steps in getting to your targets.
- Congratulate yourself at the end of the day for achieving each of your tasks, this will boost your confidence and you would be all ready to take even more assignments.
For achieving your targets and assignments on time it is dearly important that you prioritize your work and based on that list you take up each of you job works. Rushing to get an outcome is not going to do any good so take your own pleasurable time up to one limit and set yourself to the endless limit where everything just falls right. Make your base very strong and powerful so as to gain consistent greater results by delivering good performance and trying a change in your business methods. Sometimes, even the old conventional methods deprive you of your business growth, so make new changes and adapt to changing business environment.
