Any organisation to succeed has to work within a set parameters of ethic, values, norms, laws and regulations and any non compliance of these factors must be based on zero tolerance. These are a few non negotiable organisations need to put in place and run the business efficiently.
Any organisation to run effectively needs transparency in all its dealings and transactions and this in turn brings a confidence in the investors, the management, and the employees and creates a healthy business environment.
A code of conduct for acceptable behaviour is to be well articulated and well communicated and the integrity of the management and the employee should be above par and at no level should lack the culture of integrity.
Any organisation to achieve the set targets must all times develop a effective security program to protect personal information, robust access protocol for all sensitive information pertaining to business, and tackle frauds and leakage of information with iron hand and spare no one guilty of these activities.
Abiding by the law of the land, and not using un ethical methods to gain business or grant favours, or bribe to move the things, must be strictly followed for any organisation.
Finances of the organisation must be clean and audited at all times, and every move must be ensured that strict accounting procedures are in place and all taxes due to the various departments of the government are duly paid and well on time and the books of accounts must be available for scrutiny to all the investors and concerned authorities at all times.
Take a look at any organizational theory and you will find that the basic essence remains the same. Effective governance is the most important factor for any organisation to succeed.
